Diggers Shellite is a flammable hydrocarbon solvent used primarily as lighter fuel. (Also known as Recosol R55). It is commonly used as a lighter fuel, for metal cleaning or cleaning surfaces prior to painting and as fuel for Shellite stoves, torches
