Which fuel is right for you?
We have three different types of Fuel for your RC applications;
Energy RACE Competition (X)
Color: Fluorescent orange - Formula for maximum competition without compromising the longevity of the engine, in the On road version only, marked with the letters "X".
Energy Competition (O)
Color: Fluorescent orange for On Road and Red for Off Road - Formula for pure competition marked "O" for the Off Road version.
Energy Competition (H)
Color: Fluorescent orange for Heli applications. Formula for high level competition helicopter flight applications,, marked with the letter "H".
Energy 16% specifically formulated for IFMAR rules
Many nitro fuel manufactures have adjusted their nitromethane mixture to suit EFRA rules due to European Government policy amendments. This change forced EU officials to measure nitromethane by weight (0.859 gr/cc at 20º) instead of volume (0.87 gr/cc at 20°C). This results in a nitro percentage of a little over 12% within 16EU fuels instead of 16% when calculated from 1kg (by weight) to 1L (by volume).
The following gauges are used by EFRA / IFMAR:
- IFMAR International (volume): Xceed 103060
- EFRA European (weight): Capricorn NITRO16EU

Yes, we ship fuel! We work with couriers to get your fuel safely to you. Under x4 Tins is a flat-rate $40 fee. Shipping rises there after.
Note: Some locations can not be shipped to OR the cost becomes too prohibitive. If this happens, we will contact you with your options.
We're working with other Hobby stores and RC Clubs to sell Energy Fuel too. If you find shipping costs too prohibitive ask your local hobby store for Energy Fuel. If they don't stock it - tell them to get in touch with Speedy RC.
