The ultimate lightweight body stiffener for your car. For use with 0.4 or 0.5 bodyshells to stop the sides vibrating at high speed and upsetting the car!
The duo (meaning 2) braces stabalise the centre of the body, limiting vibration and movement of the sides of the body. This is normally best for high speed tracks and windy conditions to make the bodyshell as resistent to the elements as possible.
The construction of of the X-Lite Duo Flex features flexible centres and ends, to relieve pressure from the rods while in use. The ends are connected with 1mm Carbon Fiber Rod and the whole structure is pre-assembled for your convenience!
The stiffener has an arrow printed into the centre, which should be facing forwards. The stiffener can be installed in a variety of places to achieve your desired rigidity. Antoine Brunet installs his centre just above the front window so the wind resistance hitting the windsheild is supported by the stiffener for maximum downforce, while Michal Orlowski prefers to install it in the centre of the roofline to stiffen the upper section of the roof. The beauty of this stiffener is it's very versatile and can be used on any 190mm body in the market!
The X-Lite duo comes in at a crazy lightweight 1.5g for the entire unit! (plus fixing tape)
