Mugen Seiki is excited to announce the NEW MTC3 1/10 electric touring car kit.

The MTC3 is an evolution of the highly successful MTC2 and MTC2R platform.  The prototype was first raced at the 2024 IFMAR World Championship, where the two MTC3’s entered in the event both made the A final in its first event with Ronald Volker finishing 4th and Jacob Cruz finishing 10th.  Below is a list of features and details for the Mugen Seiki MTC3 1/10th Electric Touring Car.

MTC3 Features

The MTC3 features improve handling, tuning, and laptimes.

1. New 1.5mm Aluminum Chassis

• Used with standard type screws only.
• Provides a wider range of torsion stiffness adjustments for all track conditions.
• Eliminates the need for a carbon chassis option.
• Lower center of gravity for improved cornering (0.5mm and 0.7mm respectively).
• Chassis design has less overhang for more clearance and reduces the chance of the chassis touching the racing surface.

2. New Shock and Upper Arm Angle Adjustability

• No shims needed, eliminating the risk of misplaced shims.
• Quicker and easier to make adjustments.

3. New Adjustable Layshaft Height

• Allows for the use of the spur gear in its lowest position possible.
• Enables the use of a 90T spur gear for a wide range of categories and track conditions.
• Provides better weight distribution.

4. New Upper Decks

• Allows for the removal of the upper bulkhead plates.
• Easy access to the differential without disassembling other components, aside from the rear upper deck.
• New, more compact bulkheads.

5. Shock Towers

• New shock tower screws directly to the bulkheads, eliminating the need for additional parts.
• Allows for the use of fixed or active shock towers.

6. New Short Shocks

• Provide a lower center of gravity and improved geometry.
• Reduced weight.

7. New Bodyposts

• Easier to mount the body.
• Front bodypost has two distances for easier body prep.
• Rear bodypost has three options for mounting the body (horizontal, vertical, and horizontal with additional part).
• Rear bodypost includes an adjustable suspension uptravel stopper.

8. New Body Support

Body support is included in the MTC3 kit.

9. New Upper Arms

• New design using a 6mm ball.
• Two bodystop positions.

10. Lightweight Bumper

Carbon upper plate includes an adjustable suspension uptravel limiter.
